У статті виокремлено і теоретично обґрунтовано організаційно-педагогічні умови формування інформаційно-аналітичної компетентності та професійного самовизначення здобувачів освіти, що приймають рішення навчатись за програмою підготовки офіцерів запасу. Схарактеризовано особливості організації взаємодії кандидатів з офіцерами військового комісаріату: обговорення особливостей та умов проходження військової служби офіцером як кадровим, так і в запасі; організація екскурсії до військової частини з можливістю спілкування з кількома командирами взводів та командиром роти; ознайомлення з повсякденною діяльністю взводу; формування первинних уявлень про бойову підготовку та її мету, види відповідальності військовослужбовців; самотестування на предмет професійного самовизначення та готовності до управлінської діяльності.
